At Little Hoops, our Reception class is designed especially for children aged 4–5 who are just starting their school journey.
It’s a fun, high-energy, confidence-building session where little ones can learn through movement, games and play-based activities. We focus on helping children grow in coordination, listening skills, teamwork and independence — all while having a brilliant time and burning off energy.
Think of it as the perfect mix of structure and fun: simple routines to help them feel secure, but lots of space to explore, try things out and build confidence at their own pace. No pressure, no expectations — just encouragement, smiles, and lots of “I can do it!” moments.
It’s especially great for shy children who need a gentle confidence boost, or for busy little ones who thrive when they’re moving and engaged.
By the end of a session, they’ve not only had fun — they’ve built skills that help them feel more ready and settled for school life.
