For Year 1 at Little Hoops, sessions are designed for children aged 5–6 who are becoming more confident, social and ready for a little more structure.
These classes still feel fun and playful, but with a step up — we introduce slightly more challenge to help build coordination, focus and teamwork. It’s all done through games and movement, so it never feels like pressure, just lots of “look what I can do!” moments.
We support them with listening skills, following instructions, working in pairs or small groups, and growing in independence — all things that really help alongside school life.
